In the winter icebergs are very common. In the pictures you can see giant ice sheets and those are common as well. Pieces of ice break off the ice sheets and become icebergs. Icebergs often flow down the great banks. Ice bergs are very nice and fun to look at but you have to be carful with them.
There are many rivers in Newfoundland and labrador. There is one lake that starts in southern Newfoundland and ends over 200km later! Lakes are common in Newfoundland and Labrador, infact it is a lake that keeps Newfoundland away from Labrador.
One of the common landforms in Newfoundland and labrador are mountains. Most of the mountains in Newfoundland and Labrador are located to the north of Labrador. In northern labrador there are many mountains, rocks and glacial mountains.
There are many forests in Newfoundland and Labrador. Most of the forests are coniferous forests (pine trees, evergreens, etc.). Although there are many trees in Newfoundland and Labrador there are less by the day as mony are being cut down (learn more in environmental issues).
