Newfoundland and Labrodor is an island in the atlantic ocean. Although it is in the atlantic ocean it is also attached to the the east coast of Canada. When Newfoundland is with Labrador (it is the same province but there is a river in between) it is 1 of 4 of the canadian atlantic provinces. Quebec is to the west of it and part of Nunavuts borders touch the north of Newfoundland and labrador.
